Kahuna Bodywork is a full-body treatment that is often thought of as a type of massage. However, it is a broader holistic healing tradition originating from Hawaii, which is designed to harmonize the body, mind and spirit, while releasing physical, emotional, and energetic tension. The practitioner uses forearms, hands and elbows in long, deep, flowing strokes that mimic the ebb and flow of the ocean across the length of the body. You can learn more about Kahuna Bodywork and the Kahuna Pregnancy Massage here. For a fully clothed Kahuna Bodywork experience that combines whole body deep stretching, deep tissue pressure and gentle rocking the Polynesian Floor Treatment is your go to.

Homeopathy is a patient driven healing system that caters for the specific needs unique to every patient's experience of illness. As a holistic, drug-free treatment modality it takes into account every aspect of the patient's life and employs the patient's own innate healing potential. South African homeopaths receive medical training in addition to a thorough foundation in the principles of homeopathy, which culminates in homeopaths being registered by the government as primary healthcare practitioners. In our practice we may include pharmaceutical grade western herbs, herbal formulae used in Chinese Traditional Medicine, kahuna bodywork, aromatherapy massage, reflexology, mindfulness training, and/or nutraceutical supplements, in addition to homeopathic remedies, depending on what each patient needs.

Foot reflexology is a form of massage based on the premise that pressure points in the feet are connected to other specific body parts, including organs. When pressure is applied to these points, the health of the area of the body that corresponds to each point is affected. The type of reflexology we offer at our practice is extremely gentle, without painful deep pressure and is primarily a form of energetic healing.
